Job Description
Jay Kali Construction Ltd. located at 7536 140 Street Surrey, British Columbia Canada V3W 5J8 is looking for 2 full- time, Drywall Installers to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
Job Requirement:
Completion of secondary school,
3 years and more experience in related field.
Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.
Wages: $37.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
