About the Role

S.R. Garden & Landscaping Ltd. is seeking a motivated and dependable Fence Installer to join our team in Surrey, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing a variety of fencing systems for residential, commercial, and landscaping projects. The successful candidate will work outdoors, operate hand and power tools, and assist with all aspects of fence installation, from site preparation and post setting to final inspection and quality assurance. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, and work effectively as part of a team.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks
Install exterior prefabricated products.
Repair and service exterior prefabricated products.
Determine layout and installation procedures.
Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
Utilize hand and power tools.
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
Dig post holes using hand tools or power augers according to project specifications.
Set fence posts in concrete and ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling.
Assemble and install various types of fencing, including chain-link, wood, vinyl, ornamental metal, and security fences.
Cut, shape, and fit fencing materials to required dimensions.
Stretch and secure fence fabric, wire, or mesh to posts and framework.
Inspect completed installations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and functionality.
