Heavy equipment operator
Company: Akal Demolition & Excavating
Address: 6257 133 Street, Surrey, BC, V3X 1M3
2 positions available, 30 Hours per Week
Wage: $36.00-$38.00/hour
Job Type: Full time – Permanent, to start as soon as possible
NOC 73400
Language: English
Location of work: Various locations in Lower Mainland, Relocation costs covered by employer

Duties:

·         Operate heavy equipment

·         Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements

·         Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks

·         Measure distance, volume, length and weight

·         Operate computer controlled equipment

·         Complete onboard and other logs

·         Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment

·         Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment

·         Perform minor repairs to equipment

 

Requirements:
Completion of secondary school
At least 2 years of experience
