Job Description
Pacific Valley Enterprises Inc. Located at Unit 202, 19099 25 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S 3V2 is looking for 10 full-time long-haul truck drivers to join our team.
Job Duties:
· Operate trucks to deliver long haul loads working as team drivers.
· Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements.
· Loading and unloading of goods, tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
· Plan travel schedules and routes by using atlases and other trip planning aids.
· Receive and relay information to central dispatcher.
· Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
· Perform brake adjustments and maintain log book for each trip.
· Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
Job Requirements:
· Completion of Secondary School is required.
· Experience is an asset.
· Class 1 or A license or any other equivalent.
Terms of Employment:
Job type: Full-time.
Wages: – $36.75 per hour- 50 hours per week.
No of positions- 10
Location of employment: – 2895 194 St, Surrey BC V3S 9V2 and various locations all over Canada and North America.
