Job Description
Inter-Line Carriers Ltd. is looking for 5 Long Haul Truck Drivers. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our company is located at 11167 ELLENDALE DR Surrey, BC V3R 0A3
The Job duties for this position will be:
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods
Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Job Requirements:
Class 1 Driving License with Air Brakes
Basic English is required
Completion of high school is required
What we offer:
$37.00 per hour
4% vacation pay
