Job Title:Metal Fabrication Worker (NOC 95101)

Salary:$ 22.00-$24.00(depending upon experience) hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
Start date: Starts as soon as possible.

Requirements

Language: Basic English
Education: No formal education required
Experience:No formal experience required, on the job training will be provided to successful candidates

Job Description:

•          Operating light metalworking machinery and equipment used in metal processing.

•          Sorting sheets and pieces of metal, scrap metal and other materials

•          Clean, remove excess metal and polish metal products to mirror finish.

•          Assisting in cutting, shearing, and processing metal materials.

•          Loading and unloading materials using hand truck or dolly

•          Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

•          Place metal products in cleaning solutions

•          Use of hand tools and power tools to drill, cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal

•          Assisting other metal machine operators or other metal workers

•          Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Additional Skill Requirements:

•          Able to work long hours, weekends, and/or early mornings/late evenings

•          Able to work under pressure and in all weather conditions

•          Able to do heavy lifting at all times
