Job Description
Need a Skilled, Reliable and Dedicated Painter to join our work team at Pine Tree Woodworks Ltd. in Surrey, British Columbia
Number of Position(s): 1
Location: Surrey, BC
Pay Scale: $28.00 per hour
Number of Hours: 40 hours per Week
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Language Requirement: English
Experience: 2 years and more
Education: High School (Grade 12)
Job Task(s):
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted using Primer, lacquer
- Repair cracks and other wooden deformities
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture
- Apply paint, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using various techniques (Brush, Spray Pump, Roller etc.)
- Check the proper thickness of plating using micrometers, calipers or other devices
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
- Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products
- Prepare and mix painting solutions according to formulas or specifications
- Estimate costs and materials
Attribute(s): Reliable, dedicated, physically fit with good eye-hand coordination, ability to work in confined, odorous spaces
