Position Description

Position: Plumber Helper

Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

No of positions: 4

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland areas of BC.

Salary: $28.85 per hour

Job Responsibilities

·          Assist plumbers with various plumbing tasks, such as repairs, maintenance, and installations.

·          Measure, cut, and install pipes and fittings according to specified requirements.

·          Transport the necessary materials, tools, and equipment to the job site.

·          Ensure the work area is clean and surfaces are prepared after each job is completed.

·          Ensure that all safety and health protocols are followed and maintain a secure work environment.

·          Remove and replace damaged pipes as needed.

·          Prepare trenches for new plumbing installations.

·          Assist with the diagnosis and repair of plumbing problems.

·          Repair and install plumbing systems in accordance with blueprints and building codes.

·          Manage tool and equipment inventory, ensuring all are in good working condition.

·          Collaborate with the team on the planning and execution of projects.

·          Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.

·          Participate in regular training sessions to update your skills and knowledge.

·          Perform other job site activities as directed by the plumber.
