Job Description
Savemore Plumbing Heating & Electrical Supplies Ltd is looking for 1 full-time and permanent Purchasing Supervisor at 12387 84 Ave, Surrey, B.C, V3W 3G86. (Even Though this full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 38.40 dollars per hour. No of hours are 40 per week.
Main Duties:
Purchase general and specialized equipment and materials, business services.
Assess requirements of an establishment and develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
Consult with suppliers and review quotations
Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
Negotiate offers from suppliers.
May hire, train or supervise purchasing clerks.
Requirements:
Purchasing officers usually require a college diploma in business administration, commerce or economics or bachelor’s degree. Previous work experience of 1-2 years in supply chain for sourcing specialists and analysts is usually required.
