Type of Position: Permanent, full time

Job Duties:
• Operate and drive primarily tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials over short and long distances.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
• Perform and maintain logbooks of pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly as per safety requirements and follow all safety procedures.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Maintain a complete maintenance and repair logbooks.
• Administer bills of lading and maintain logbooks.
• Report and log accidents or incident accurately.

Skills Required:
• Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, organized, reliable.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to obtain AZ Class License.
• Must be able to obtain Certification.

Experience Required:
• Experience is an asset.

Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience.

Wage & Hours: $26.44 / h paid through piecework
• Number of hours per day: 12
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 60
• Overtime starts after: 60 hours per week (workers are not expected to work more than 60 hours).
