Job Description
Flō Energy Solutions Inc. located at Suite 200, 1920 Yonge Street, Toronto, in Ontario, M4S 3E2, has a vacancy for 1 X full time and permanent Technical Sales Specialist. Regular travel to clients throughout the province of Ontario.
Duties
Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients and act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs on assigned accounts.
As primary contact, oversee needs qualifications, solution development, proposal generation, negotiations and closing, initiating the order of fulfilment cycle and staying aware of post-sales support.
Identify and solicit potential clients to achieve long-term partnerships by understanding needs and anticipating them in advance.
Assess clients’ needs, recommend, or assist in the selection of appropriate goods or services, and negotiate prices or other sales terms.
Managing accounts making sure they are receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their sales needs.
Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients’ needs by maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, new product training, reviewing trade publications, attending conferences/trade shows, business networking, etc.
Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from use of good or service and co-ordinate in leads generating events and activities & tracking their outcomes for assuring returns on investments.
Participate in brainstorming, office activities, staff meetings and client meetings, researching and assisting in program development for existing clients and new prospects.
Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records.
Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support and maintain accurate client records and reports.
Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment.
Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services.
Develop through understanding of Flo’s products and services to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
Develop reports on sales strategies to achieve business goals and generate progress reports to give to clients and higher-ups within the organization.
Assess market conditions and competitors’ activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trends.
May offer training in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
May supervise the activities of other technical staff and sales specialists
Skills and Abilities
Proficient in English Language
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer negotiations
Education
Post-secondary education in Engineering (preferably mechanical) or in another technical field or Business Admin/Commerce
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC rooftop systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and/or customer-facing consultative roles
Wage
Base salary of $160,000 annually
$76.92 per hour
Over-time when necessary

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with unpaid 30min lunch (start and end times can be somewhat flexible if necessary)
