Working knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial policy-making
Knowledge in writing issue briefs
Ability to deal with event organization.
Knowledge of Ontario’s energy needs and small and medium nuclear reactor policy
Tasks and Responsibilities
Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
Research business opportunities among Japanese nuclear technology companies seeking to
enter the Ontario market
Identify and arrange meetings with Canadian-based Japanese companies
Provide research and policy briefs
Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
Schedule and confirm appointments
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Coordinate tasks with other consultants
Compile data, statistics and other information
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Arrange travel, and related itineraries and make reservations
Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
