Job Description
Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week
Education: College Diploma in Accounting or related subjects

Job Descriptions: Jia Cheng Trading Company is a federally incorporated business that specializes in the distribution of fresh vegetables, fresh and frozen meat, take-out containers and Asian and Japanese restaurant supplies. It operates a Canada-wide distribution network and imports from a wide variety of suppliers within and outside of Canada to ensure the largest range of products for customers.
Job Duties:
1. Tracked company bank accounts, deposits and balances, reporting regularly to management to ensure proper financial oversight and contributing to monthly cash flow optimization.
2. Managed company invoice obligations, ensuring accurate and timely payments, gaining approval where necessary, and identifying and reporting inaccuracies or variances.
3. Prepared company monthly financial statements, including cash flow, income/P & L, and balance sheets, ensuring clear and accurate financial reporting for strategic decision-making;
4. Reconciled and verified all company invoices and monthly statements, assigning payments to appropriate cost centres and improving the reconciliation process.
