Job Description
At Midori Ramen, we serve authentic Japanese ramen. We are currently looking for a full-time and permanent Cook to join our team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook meals and foods on the menu according to customer’s orders
– Operate, maintain, and properly clean the kitchen and all kitchen equipment
– Supervise kitchen helpers
– Ensure food service and quality control
– Perform regular inventory counts and report shortages to supervisor or manager
– Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area
Education, skills and experience required:
– Completion of secondary school
– Several years’ experience of food preparation in commercial environment
Language: Communication skills in English
Compensation: $16.55 – $20.00/hour (depends on experience and/or qualifications), plus tips/gratuities, staff meals (over 4 hours shift), staff discount, 4% vacation pay
