Job Description

Employment Location:  Unit 1, 2220 Midland Avenue, Scarborough, ON M1P 3E6

Hours:  Permanent, Full-time, 35 hours per week

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Job Descriptions:  The Financial and Investment Manager will review the financial standing and profiles of potential business partners/investors in China, vet them for compliance with financial reporting and accounting standards and assess the viability and profitability of partnership/investment arrangements in relation to ADD Canada Toronto Inc.’s prospective franchising ventures.

Specific Skills:

(1) Examine the financial records and reports of businesses and corporations in China – screen for compliance with relevant (local and IFRS) accounting standards and protocol.

(2) Compile financial statements risk profiles/portfolios and reports regarding the financial standing of potential corporate partners that are interested in partnering with and/or investing in ADD Canada Toronto Inc.

(3) From a financial perspective, review collaborative contracts between ADD Canada Toronto Inc. and Chinese partners and make recommendations on investment decisions.

(4) Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance of ADD Canada Toronto Inc.

(5) Assist in negotiations with prospective partners through providing financial analysis reports and financial yield forecasts.

(6) Consider ADD Canada Toronto Inc.’s financial position, evaluate financial risk and make recommendations on the profitability and feasibility of partnerships with potential corporate stakeholders in China and potential franchising opportunities.

(7) Monitor and continuously oversee partnerships with Chinese stakeholders to maintain up to date records of corporate compliance with financial accounting standards.
