Position: Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44101)

Job Location: Etobicoke, ON M9R 1T4

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Salary: $21.00/hour / 30 hours per week

Employment conditions: day, morning, evening

Languages: English

Anticipated start date: (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work conditions: Repetitive task

Responsibilities:

Tasks

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Take children to and from school and to appointments
Tend to emotional well-being of children
 

Target Audience: supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Work Setting: Employer’s home
