Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Use knives and stunning equipment to slaughter livestock.
  • Remove non-edible parts and viscera from the carcasses.
  • Cut carcasses into smaller sections for easier processing and handling.
  • Skin, clean, and trim animal carcasses
  • May perform slaughtering of sheep, calves, cattle according to specific religious practices.
