Victoria Education Solutions Inc. is a well-known education organization formed up in 2009 with a business scope that offering a variety of job training and career related services to international student/graduates and new immigrants with different backgrounds to help them find their dream job in Canada. Victoria Education Solutions Inc. currently has three (3) training centers located in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.

Now Victoria Education Solutions Inc. is looking for an experienced Media Coordinator to join the marketing team. The Media Coordinator is responsible for analyzing advertising needs and developing appropriate advertising and marketing plans especially in digital marketing, and the coordination and execution of our marketing initiatives, including media communications, event management, and maintain media relations with other groups.

Position Requirements:

 

• Education

Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, media, communications, and/or relevant fields (Required)

• Relevant Experience

Minimum 1 year experience as a Media Coordinator, Communications Assistant, Digital Marketing Coordinator and /or similar role (Required)

 

• Language Ability

Fluent English in writing and speaking

 

• Other Requirements

I. Experience with video and graphics editing.

II. Understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies, including social media, email, and search engine marketing.

III. Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiency.

IV. Experience assisting with the implementation of promotion and communication strategies.

V. Demonstrated experience designing layouts and formats for print and electronic media.

VI. Advanced skills in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

VII. Advanced skills in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro).

VIII. Demonstrated experience in social media platforms for professional environments (e.g. Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Xiaohongshu, Wechat etc.).

IX. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

X. Strong planning skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

XI. Ability to work independently interfacing with highly skilled professionals in a team environment and provide leadership in work activities.

XII. Experience with social media advertising is a plus.

XIII. Prior relevant experience in the educational industry is an asset.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

l Collaborate with teams of Victoria Education in all stages of marketing campaigns and contribute to developing, expanding, and maintaining digital marketing channels.

l Assist Marketing Manager develop strategies, conduct marketing promotions and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns and implement them.

l Coordinate the creation, updating, and graphics, and supporting digital marketing methods (e.g. web, social media) with variety of departments

l Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials

l Coordinate all marketing events and maintain contact with the media.

l Maintain and manage digital database.

l Design and analysis market research questionnaires.

l Assist in planning and maintaining monthly marketing budget

l Create and maintain marketing documentation and presentations.

l Keep up-to-date on educational industry activities and trends.

l Implement the Victoria Education’s advertising and promotion activities.

l Design, layout, assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other production of supporting marketing events.

l Assist with arranging media events, workshops, online meetings or conference.

l Tracking of post campaign analytics and social media performance.

 

 

Wage:

$35.00/hour, ($52.50/hour overtime rate after 44 hours per week)

 

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
