Retail Sales Supervisor

Job Description

Zakka Canada is currently looking for a full-time and permanent Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

– Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers

– Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules

– Authorize payments and the return of merchandise

– Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

– Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise for warehouse (in-person sales) as well as online store

– Maintain customers online

– Take care of the general look of the store -cleanliness, tidiness, and efficiency- to ensure the best image and product images/descriptions for online store

– Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

– Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness

– May perform the same duties as workers supervised

– Work as a team player, fostering open communication to contribute to a positive work environment

– Comply with company policies, practices, and procedures

Education, skills and experience required:

– Completion of secondary school

– Previous work experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk

Language: Communication skills in English

Compensation: $22.00/hour, 4% vacation pay
