Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Dining is seeking an Assistant Cook for their Downtown location.
JOB TITLE: Assistant Cook – Cooks (NOC 63200)
LOCATION: 888 Nelson Street G3 , Vancouver, BC V6Z 2H1
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time;
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
VACANCIES: 1
WAGE: $18.00 per hour;
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30-40 hours per week. Bonus based on Sales Performance.
*Standard 6-8 hours shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10am and 12am as required.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare ingredients and marinate BBQ items;
- Prepare Japanese food items (everything on the menu); – Supervise kitchen staff.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a commercial cook;
- English language ability required;
