Wage: $   18-19    /Hourly CAD. You shall receive 50% more than the regular wages for any hours worked over 40 hours per week.

Work of Hours:    40   hour(s) per week.

  • 4% of Vacation pay will be calculated on a semi-monthly basis, based on semi-monthly gross earnings, and paid out on your regular semi-monthly paycheck.

Snack shot established in 2017, is a local cafe that serves traditional and creative Hong Kong snacks & dessert. Our mission is to create an eatery that brings families together. The environment is decorated to create a nostalgic ambiance so that customers can enjoy an authentic snack without flying a long haul. Snack shot is expanding ambitiously. Our goal is to save your time in traveling while satisfying your sweet tooth.

Requirements

Education level: Completed secondary education.

Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Baker. We will provide necessary training.

Main duties include the following:

  • Prepare various types of products from the menu, following carefully the recipes and yield guides
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes of the restaurant.
  • Operate machinery; Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
  • Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
  • Take the order and prepare items to the specifications of the client’s needs
  • Draw up a production schedule to determine the type and quantity of goods to produce
  • Manage, control and record the ingredients inventory
  • In charge of stock control for the freezers, pantries and storerooms; and organizing the fridge, the freezers and the storage shelves from time to time
  • Order ingredients from different suppliers and keep records of the purchases.
    Ensure appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the working area
