Job Description

NRGTEK Construction is hiring two Carpenters (NOC 72310)

2 Carpenters – full time permanent positions available to start as soon as possible

$38.00-$40.00 per hour-30 hours per week

Various locations of work in Lower Mainland

 

Requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary education

·         Work experience:2 years of related experience

·         Language: English

 

Duties:

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Estimate costs and materials
Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
