Salary: $35.00 per hour

Hours: Permanent employment, Full time 30-40 hours / week

Job requirements:
Language: English

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Job Location: 1864 W 57 Avenue Vancouver BC, Canada

Job Duties:

·       Prepare and cook meals as per the restaurant’s menu

·       Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food in a timely manner

·       Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and delegate tasks to kitchen staff

·       Plan menus for the events and help cooks in requisition food and kitchen supplies.

·       Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests

·       Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

·       Monitor food stock and place orders as needed

·       Suggest new ingredients by experimenting with the recipes
