Kosoo Korean Chicken & BBQ located Vancouver downtown, is currently seeking qualified Chef.

Employer: Kosoo Korean Chicken & BBQ

Work location: 1128 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1B2

Position: Chef

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30~40 hours per week)

Wage:  $29~$30 per hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirement:

-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation

-Completion of Secondary School.

-English ability (able to communicate) is required

Main Job Duties:

– Plan menus and create new menu and new side dish or sauce recipes

– Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events or special guests

– Plan food preparation and cooking activities

– Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items

– Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff

– Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

– Consult customers regarding special arrangement
