Job Description
Sodhi Development Ltd is looking for 2 full-time Construction Helper at 285 E 45 Ave, Vancouver, BC, V5W 1X2.Salary is $21/hr and 40 hrs/week. (Even though this is a full-time position, we encourage part-time job seekers to apply as well.)
Job Duties:
Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
Mix, pour and spread materials
Assist tradespersons in construction activities
Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in
moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities.
Assist in drilling at construction sites
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Assist in demolishing buildings
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Employment Requirements:
No formal education is required. Experience is an asset.
