Job Description
OHKIM Sushi and Grill is looking for an experienced First Cook. We are located in Vernon, BC.

Position: First Cook
Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent position (30~40 hours a week)
Wage: $29~$32/hour
Main Duties:
Prepare and cook complete meals
Assist in planning menus and determine size of food portions
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling food
Supervise kitchen staffs
Inspect kitchens and food service area
Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
Monitor and maintain records of supplies, ingredient and equipment
Oversee and manage kitchen operations
Organize buffets and banquets when needed
Requirements:
– 3 years of commercial cooking experience
– High school diploma or higher
– Ability to communicate in English
