Job Description

Boccoli Hair for Men & Women Ltd. is looking for a permanent full-time hairstylist at Boccoli Salon. We are popular among Vancouver local. We specialize in cuts, colour, highlights, JP ionic hair straightening, perms, and styling in Japanese hairdressing fashion or style.

 

Duties:

– Scissor cutting, razor cutting, long hair trimming and short hair cutting

– Bleach, dyes/tints, presentations, streaking/highlights

– Blow drying, braiding, iron waving/curling, permanents, extensions, twisting and pin curling

– Customer consultation: analyze hair and scalp conditions and provide advice on care treatments

– Shampoo customers’ hair

– Book appointments, perform cashiering duties and receptionist duties when required

– Maintain supplies

 

Skills and Experiences:

– Some experience as a hairstylist is an asset

 

Education:

Completion of vocational training school for hairstylist

 

Language:

Oral and written English skills

 

Compensation:

$19.00/hour 30 hrs/week, Gratuities, 4% Vacation Pay, extended medical and dental coverage.
