Job Description
“O Sushi” Japanese Restaurant located at 742 Granville Street. Vancouver is looking to hire an experienced full time Head Chef. Details are below.
Position: Head Chef
Working Condition: Full Time, Permanent, 30~35 hrs per week
Wage: $36.00~$36.67 per hour
Work Location: 742 Granville Street Vancouver BC V6Z 1E4
Job Description:
– Plan food preparation and cooking activities
– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
– Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items and labour costs
– Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests
– Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets or other special events
– Supervise activities of chefs and cooks
Minimum Qualification Include:
– 3 years of work experience in commercial food preparation including some supervisory experience
– Available on evenings and weekends
– Able to communicate in English
– High School Diploma
