Job Description

Miki is looking for an in-home childcare provider to work at their private home to take care of their young children (3 years old and 5 years old).

Duties:

・ Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents;

・ Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

・ Supervise and care for young children in employer’s home;

・ Bathe, dress, and feed the children;

・ Instruct the children in personal hygiene and social development;

・ Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children;

・ Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties;

・ Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;

・ Discipline the children according to the methods requested by the parents;

・ Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children;

・ Organize activities such as games and outings for children;

・ Prepare children for rest periods;

・ Tend to emotional well-being of children;

Skills and experiences:

-Completion of secondary school

-Some child care relevant experience

Language:

-English

-Completion of secondary school

Compensation

-$19/hour, 30-40hrs/week, 4% in vacation pay or equivalent time
