Job Description

Vanmates is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Housing Information Officer to join our dynamic team.

Work Location: 717 W. Pender St. 2nd Floor, Vancouver, BC V6C 1G9

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Main Job Duties:

  • Develop marketing strategies for Japanese clients and agents using social media such as Instagram
  • Communicate effectively on-camera during Instagram Live sessions to promote Vanmates services
  • Edit brochure contents and draft e-newsletters
  • Provide clients with information about housing options including properties, rental rates, lease terms, and additional services
  • Train new members of the Japan team to ensure they are equipped to meet company standards
  • Track and report on client interactions and sales activities using reporting tools such as HubSpot.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the Canadian housing market, including local rental regulations and real estate trends
  • Coordinate events and promotions
  • Maintain strong, positive relationship with clients and agents to enhance their Canadian living experience and build a sense of community and trust

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field
  • Computer skills (MS Office, Google Drive)
  • Knowledge of Asian culture
  • Understanding of Asian Market
  • Japanese language is an asset

Credentials:

  • Google AdWords Certification
