Salary: $22.50/hour

Term of employment: Fulltime (30 – 40 hours/week); Permanent position

Benefits: 

• 2 weeks paid vacation; overtime pay.

• Roun-trip transportation to the work location in Canada at the beginning of the work period and to return to country of residence at the end of work period.

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated Landscaper laborer to add to our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform a variety of tasks to assist in the installation, maintenance, and improvement of outdoor landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, be physically fit, and able to work in varying weather conditions.

This vacancy is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, refugees, youths, and others.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, leveling, and preparing grounds for landscaping projects, including removing weeds, rocks, and debris.
• Planting and Maintenance: Spread topsoil, plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass, and assist in maintaining existing plants by watering, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching.
• Lawn Care: Perform tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating lawns to maintain healthy, aesthetic landscapes.
• Operation of Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery, such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.
• Other Duties: Assist in cleaning job sites, loading/unloading materials, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping or gardening is preferred.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping tools and machinery.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of plants, irrigation, and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus.
