The project manager is responsible for day-to-day management of projects and must be competent in managing the aspects of a project. The ideal candidate should possess IT acumen, and experience leading a team of support staff. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency and carry out administrative activities.
Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate office operations ensuring organizational efficiency. Assist with HR functions, review and evaluate and develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency in the workplace and make sure all regulations are met.
· Oversee, co-ordinate and carry out office administrative procedures
· Supervise 5-10 support staff
· Work on specific projects that have definite outcomes, within time and budgetlimits.
· Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlinesare met.
· Make sure the work is done to the right standard and meets projectspecifications
· Delegate and motivate the team of people involved in the project
· Deal with changes to the project as and when necessary
· Make sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits
· Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures as necessary

The Project Manager constantly strives to maintain and improve technical skills and is comfortable with data backups, disaster recovery, and IT security.

Qualifications and work experience requirements
Experience in Canadian healthcare systems
Experience in dealing with government grants
Computer Science degree
Project management: 1-2 years
