Job Description

Konbiniya is looking for two retail store supervisors.

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and organize retail sales clerks’ work schedule.

·         Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise

·         Sell merchandises to customers

·         Explain Japanese merchandises to customers when necessary

·         Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages

·         Maintain specified inventory and order merchandises to suppliers

·         Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

·         Hire and train or arrange for the training of new retail sales clerks

Skills and Experiences:

– Previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier is required.

– Japanese merchandise knowledge is an asset

– Effective interpersonal skill

 

Language

English

Education:

– Completion of secondary school

Compensation:

$22.60/hour, 4% vacation pay
