Job Description
JOB DETAILS:
Work location : 1192 Robson street, Vancouver BC V6E 1B2 Hours of work: Average 35-40 Hours per week
Flexible schedule availability required- varying timings/shifts including late nights, weekends, on-call & stat holidays.
Experience of a minimum one year in Food preparation/services or similar service industry Supervisory roles OR completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management.
Suitable for a customer-oriented team player with good interpersonal skills.
Food Safe Certification & Criminal record check are mandatory.
Must be able to communicate well in English.
Driving License & own vehicle is an asset ; public transportation is available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare Staff shifts schedules and establish methods to meet work schedules.
Supervise(staff of 5-10 people) and co-ordinate activities of employees to promote efficiency ofoperations.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
Assist in hiring food service staff.
Ensure food service and quality control standards.
Be customer service oriented and address customer’s complaints or concerns efficiently.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Fast-paced team work environment
Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Worksite environment: Noisy, Odours, Hot
