Location: Vancouver, BC. V5P 3T8

Rate: $34.63 hourly / 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time.

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Tasks:
-Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
-Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
-Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
-Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
-Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
-Requisition food and kitchen supplies
-Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
-Clean kitchen and work areas
-Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations

Credentials:

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate

Experience and specialization:

Cuisine specialties: Vietnamese cuisine

Food specialties:
-Fish and seafood
-Meat, poultry and game
-Stocks, soups and sauces
-Vegetables, fruits, nuts and mushrooms
