Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Established in 2001, Promosa has been producing events for over two decades across North America. We are a full-service production management company with a specialized division in large format LED video walls.

We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Video Technicians wanting to grow their career to the next level. Full-time positions are available. The selected candidate must have a team mentality, a willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determine video equipment needs for event productions
Create data, power, pixel map, signal flow drawings for event productions
Oversee set up, management and disassembly of video equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with LED walls, cameras and projector equipment
Monitor equipment placement, status and staff activity at event productions to ensure that safety procedures are followed
Liaise with clients to ensure the expectation of flawless service is achieved
Assist with equipment maintenance

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with LED Video Walls
Experience with Novastar and Barco programming
Extensive knowledge of building and programming LED Video Wall
Extensive knowledge with cameras, including installation and operation of cameras and processing
Experience with camera directing and camera engineering of multi-camera live events
Extensive knowledge of audio/visual production and events
Concert, Festival and Touring Experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Morning shift
Night shift
Weekends as needed

Education:
Associates Degree or equivalent experience

Experience:
We are looking for someone with 3-5 years experience working live events. Additionally we need you to possess the following:
Video editing: 3 years (required)
Novastar: 2 years (required)
Barco Programming: 2 years (required)

Language: English (required)
Work Location: In person at 1265 Powell Street, Vancouver, BC, V6A1J5
