Job Description
Cleaning Supervisor
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Task
Hire and train or arrange for the training of cleaning staff
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cleaners
Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
Assist cleaners in performing tasks
Establish work schedules
Supervision:
Light-duty cleaners
11 – 15 people
Work site environment:
At heights, wet/damp, odours, dusty, outdoors, dirty
Work setting:
Office building, commercial facility, shopping centre or mall, restaurant
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Fast-paced environment
