Kawakubo Sushi is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Vernon on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will help create and carry out marketing plans and connect with more customers

Position: Marketing Coordinator, Full time, Permanent

Work Location: 3315 30th Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2C9

Key Responsibilities:

Advise the restaurant on marketing, advertising, and sales promotion opportunities and strategies
Develop and maintain social media accounts, including responding to customer reviews and testimonials.
Assess and evaluate our product/service features to ensure effective promotion.
Conduct surveys to understand the interests and concerns of customers and key community group
Arrange media events to promote the restaurant
Coordinate special events and promotions for both internal and external customers
Assist in preparing brochures and other marketing materials
Represent the restaurant at community events and culinary showcases
Act as the restaurant’s spokesperson, responding to written and oral inquiries
Conduct public opinion research to shape marketing strategies.
Requirements:

A College Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, Or at least 1 year of experience in marketing or a related field.
English communication skills.
High school graduation or higher
Compensation and working hours: $28.85 hourly and 30~40 hours weekly
