Job Description
- Supervise and care for children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and assist with daily routines.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and tend to children’s dietary needs.
- Discipline children according to parental guidelines and maintain a positive home environment.
- Plan and organize activities such as games, reading and outings to support social and emotional development.
- Take children to and from school and appointments as required.
- Shop for food and household supplies as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Assume full household responsibility in parents’ absence and ensure a safe and healthy home environment.
- Help children with homework.
Requirements:
- Education Required: High school
- Languages: English
- Certificates:
– Emergency child care first aid and CPR
– First Aid Certificate - Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Patience, and Honesty
- Criminal record check, Basic security clearance, and Reference required
- Demonstrated ability to perform work
