Job Description
We are looking for Concrete Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will smooth and finish freshly poured concrete and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various concrete structures including foundations, floors, sidewalks, roads, patios, and high‑rise building components.
Main Duties
• Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Level concrete surfaces using straightedges or floats according to grade and depth specifications.
• Apply desired finishes using hand and power tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure concrete surfaces.
• Waterproof, damp‑proof, and restore concrete surfaces.
• Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged concrete structures.
Requirements
• Completion of secondary school.
• Experience as a concrete finisher is an asset.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
