We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Food Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations and support our team in delivering an outstanding shopping experience. The successful candidate will supervise staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and assist with scheduling and training. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

·         Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)

·         Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

·         Order merchandise

·         Establish work schedules

·         Selling merchandise

·         Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

·         Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

·         Organize and maintain inventory

·         Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

·         Manage cash

·         Conduct performance reviews

·         Perform opening and closing activities

·         Supervision of retail salespersons and salesclerks
