Position: Line Cook

Nautical Nellies Steak and Seafood restaurant has been operating for over 26 years, and we pride ourselves on our fantastic culture and incredible staff. We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, ensuring that food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies when necessary
Keep up to date with industry trends and techniques

Requirements:

Previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety protocols
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Great attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow as a professional
