Job Description
Yamato Transport U.S.A., Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of Yamato Holdings Co., Ltd., the #1 logistics service in Japan. We are currently looking for a qualified person for a permanent and full-time Transportation Coordinator position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with other departments and workers to plan and supervise supply chain operations and logistics, including international shipments.
Prepare and submit reports on work progress and information related to operations.
Provide technical direction for problems that occur within logistics operations to improve and maintain productivity and quality.
Coordinate and supervise that products and materials handled in the operation are received and shipped according to schedule.
Coordinate and review to ensure that each work assignment is properly allocated.
Train other workers on the above duties.
Education, Skills, Experiences and other qualifications:
Completion of a post-secondary education program of less than two years in Business or Supply Chain Management
Extensive experience as a dispatcher, production clerk or scheduling clerk can be replaced if you do not have the above education
Language:
– Communication skills in English
