Job Description
Intelligent Shipping and Warehousing Inc is a logistics and warehousing company located in heart of Richmond, BC. We specialize in international transportation, storage, and delivery of freights worldwide. Our company is currently in search for a permanent, full time Administrative and Financial Services Manager to join our team.
As the Administrative and Financial Services Manager, the ideal candidate is required to complete the following duties
· Develop, formalize, and administer operational policies, procedures, and processes in support of administrative operations. Ensure operation procedures are in place, filing system and database are designed, supply requisitions are approved, kpi levels are reached.
· Develop, formalize, and administer operational policies, procedures, and processes in support of financial operations. Ensure the confidentiality of financial data, client database, monitor company cash flow and performance metrics.
· Assess the effectiveness of the company’s current customer relationship management process. Recommend changes, standardize customer service procedures to increase customer stratification rate and grow business revenue.
· Serve as a liaison between different departments, facilitating effective communication and coordination to support overall organizational goals
· Work with the financial staff to develop and update training manual regarding financial process, international tax regulations, VAT EIT declaration procedures etc.
· Work with administrative staff to draft and modify service contracts for both corporate and individual clients. Ensure all contracts drafted are catered to client needs and all payments are collected according to the contract.
· Work with the director to formulate annual budgets, prepares and interprets management, financial reports, expends allocated budgets for company employees, equipment, and supplies.
· Oversee the quality of service delivered by administrative, warehousing, and financial staff to ensure effective services are provided. Continually monitor staff through performance measures and identify and employ staff development and training measures.
The highlight of Qualification:
· Degree in business administration, economics, or similar field is required.
· 2+ years of work experience in the administrative and/or financial field is required.
· Ability to interpret financial statement, balance sheets, cash flow is an asset.
· Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures is an asset.
· Proficient in MS Office, financial software is an asset.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
